CW Renews 'Supernatural,' 'Smallville' 'One Tree Hill,' 'Gossip Girl,' '90210,' 'America's Next Top Model'

Well it’s not surprising the shows that have been renewed, they missed out Privileged from the renewal list, I have never seen that, so don’t know whether or not it’s a good thing.

It’s great to see an early pick up of Supernatural and Gossip Girl.

For Supernatural, this is the second straight early renewal. Creator Eric Kripke has repeatedly said from the start that the show would last five seasons, so this means next year is probably the final one.

With Smallville, the main sticking point dealt with contract negotiations for Tom Welling. At this point, it's unknown exactly how many episodes he signed on for, if any, or whether the show will simply focus on the other stars.

One Tree Hill's survival could be due to the fact that creator Mark Schwahn wasn't chosen to lead the new Melrose Place, though the fate of star Chad Michael Murray is currently unknown.
90210 started off strong but slowly died out during the season. However, it was the most talked about new show of the season, and with the new Melrose Place coming, it has a perfect companion for the schedule next Fall.

Gossip Girl continues to be the CW's major attraction for many fans, and a third season was all but guaranteed. What is less certain is the fate of the spin-off series that follows Lily van der Woodsen's early years.

The renewal of America's Next Top Model comes as no surprise as casting calls for the next cycle were announced earlier this week. Cycle 13 will feature shorter models, with 5'7'' being the maximum height of contestants.

Does it make me a bad person that I wanna lick Jared Padalecki's armpit?
