Supernatural Season 5 – Cast and News

OK So another Season 5 snippet, don’t worry last update for August.

Supernatural has a wild season coming up with the Winchester brothers going head to head with Satan / Lucifer / the Devil.  No matter how much we like and root for the Winchesters, I’m not sure how they’re going to pull off taking on the man from down below himself.

With season five dealing with what comes of the final seal being broken, we’re going to be seeing some new faces and a few old faces.

OK so what can we confirm about the cast ? Well its not that long till Supernatural Season 5 airs in the US, so we can confirm some of the cast details.

Mark Pellegrino has been cast to play Lucifer for his day trip to our reality. As if Lucifer isn’t a pain in the backside, guess who’s coming to dinner also?

Remember the demon Meg with the giant chip on her shoulder for the Winchesters?  She’s back.  Rachel Miner has been cast in the role of Meg.
There’s also a face from an early season making a return trip to the show and that’s Adrianne Palicki.

If you don’t remember, she played Sam’s ex, Jessica, who was smite by a demon, much like the Winchesters mother was.

Paris Hilton will be appearing in one episode as a demon.

Julie McNiven returns to play Anna, one of the High Angels from Season 4.

Freddie Stroma – Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

So who has not seen the film yet? I haven’t actually, but I still like to keep upto date with what is happening in the film world.  If you haven’t seen the film then watching it for British hottie Freddie Stroma seems a good enough reason to me.

With his new heartthrob status and countless fan blogs dedicated to him, such as a Facebook group called, "Freddie Stroma Puts Me in a Coma," he admits it's a fine line between weird and flattering. "It is a bit strange having other people talk and have opinions about me, and people looking up stuff about me," says Stroma. "It's people saying that they like me. It's quite nice."

Unfortunately ladies, he's off the market. The curly blond, blue-eyed hunk with washboard abs has a girlfriend of two and a half years. They met at school and she's not in showbiz. He calls her "quite lovely and a supportive girl." Though female fans are already swooning over him, "She's not worried about it," he says. "She knows that I'm not the kind of person that would let it go to my head so there's nothing really to worry about. We are in a committed relationship."

Unlike his brash romance skills onscreen, Stroma is personally more of a sensitive romantic. "I like to think that I'm a romantic type of person, but I'm a realistic romantic," he says. "For me it's the sweet gestures like the little things in life that I can do when I am with someone. It's just about constantly reminding them how much they mean to me. ... Saying the 'L-word' everyday, that's the one that everyone is terrified of but don't need to be."

Another thing he's not afraid of? Sweets. "I've got a ridiculously sweet tooth," he says. "I have a lot of candy and I usually pick-n-mix, which is a killer, and Haribo is pretty good as well. But cookies and milk are pretty standard for me. I have a lot of it. I'm quite a bit shocked how much I haven't grown up in that sense."

He's also not too old to cut a rug. "1 don't have any particular moves but I like trying desperately to do Michael Jackson moves jokingly with friends," he says of his dancing skills, which are making the rounds on the Internet. "There's an Acne modeling video on the Net where I'm dancing in my underwear and it shows I'm not good because I had to dance barefoot to music that I didn't know ... I have not heard the end of it from my rugby friends since that was released."

Following in the footsteps of celebrities such as David Beckham, Madonna, and Daniel Radcliffe, Gods of Football's Nick Youngquest is the latest hunky star to feature on the cover of Europe's number 1 gay fashion magazine, Attitude. The hot, new issue of the mag features an exclusive interview and scorching, 10 page fashion shoot with Nick where he strips off to promote the new, British DVD release of the Gods of Football: the Making of the Calendar, whose cover he also graces.

26 year-old Nick recently moved to the UK to play rugby league for an English club and has already been causing a stir with Brits. Now, with a coveted Attitude cover under his belt, topped with the recent announcement that he's signed to leading talent agency, Nous Models in Los Angeles, the sky’s the limit for the hotshot rugby player-model.

Nick's ripped body and killer blue eyes on the cover of the best-selling Gods of Football 2009 calendar and the UK release of the Gods of Football DVD made Nick an instant hit with fans of sporting male hotness everywhere! Broad: IPL decision was the right one

Stuart Broad's decision to turn down the riches of the Indian Premier League were vindicated with Ashes glory.

England all-rounder Broad has been tipped to rake in £2million in commercial deals on the back of his performances in the npower series victory over Australia. The spin-offs of the 2-1 success appear deserved, however, after Broad showed his commitment to preparing for an Ashes summer by taking three weeks off rather than put himself forward for the IPL auction.

"The reason I didn't go was to focus on the Ashes and that really worked out for me," said Broad, who set up England's fifth Test win with a five-wicket haul at The Oval.

"I managed to play in all five Tests and make useful contributions to us winning, so that decision was certainly worthwhile.

"The IPL will sometime in my career help me develop as a Twenty20 cricketer, it's a great competition and a great spectacle.

"But it all depends on how I and my body are feeling, and if anyone wants me.

"To be honest I haven't looked any further than packing my bags for Belfast (ahead of Thursday's one-day international against Ireland), so I don't know what will happen in the next year."

Richard Hammond

Richard Mark Hammond is a British TV presenter, most noted for co-hosting car programme Top Gear alongside Jeremy Clarkson and James May, as well as presenting Brainiac: Science Abuse on Sky1, Should I Worry About...? on BBC One and Total Wipeout, also on BBC One and Richard Hammond's Blast Lab on CBBC. He has also presented several one-off specials such as ITV's The Gunpowder Plot: Exploding The Legend and the annual Crufts awards.

In 2006, Hammond suffered a life-threatening crash at speeds of over 280mph (ca 450 km/h) in a jet engine powered dragster racing car. He recovered months later and continued his presenting work.

On 22 July 2007, during severe flooding, Hammond left his Porsche 911 - in which he had been stuck in traffic for 13 hours - to run home for his daughter's birthday. He ran 16 miles (26 km) in two-and-a-half hours (from 3am to 5:30 am), arriving home before his daughter woke up.

An interview with The Sunday Times in February 2008 reported Hammond as having moved briefly from Gloucestershire to Buckinghamshire, then back again because he missed the country life.  Hammond is also a keen motorcyclist and Land Rover Defender fan, he spent over 70,000GBP rebuilding his 110 "Buster" in 2008.    In October the Hereford Times confirmed he had splashed out three million pounds buying Bollitree Castle which is situated near Weston under Penyard, Ross on Wye. It has been rumoured he has also bought a large house in the small town of Wantage, Oxfordshire.

On Top Gear in 2007, Hammond went to Africa on an 'Epic Road Trip' across Botswana. While there he found a 1963 Opel Kadett, in which he drove across Botswana. Hammond named it Oliver. On Top Gear a week after the special was aired, Hammond announced during the news, that he had shipped Oliver back to the UK, and restored it. Oliver features on Hammond's children's science television show Richard Hammond's Blast Lab and in another episode of Top Gear as a kind of "Hill-holder" in the trailer truck challenge (after it acquired the personal plate "OLI V3R"). Oliver is also mentioned in Hammond's second autobiography As You Do.
