Big Brother 9 : Dale Howard

Big Brother 9 is well underway, with the housemates failing their first shopping task the fun and games have started.

 dale howard1

Age: 21     From: Liverpool        Occupation: PE Teaching student       Status: In a relationship

dale howard2
Dale is a super-confident part-time DJ from Liverpool. He is desperate to be rich and famous and have girls screaming his name. He rates himself 10/10 for looks and believes his peers are often jealous of him. Dale is described by his friends and family as friendly, funny but mostly arrogant, big-headed and over-confident.

dale howard4
Dale is currently studying to be a PE teacher, although deep down he dreams of being a pro- footballer. In his youth, he had trials with Manchester United and Wigan Athletic but didn’t get through, which he now regrets. He likes to keep his body in good shape by daily visits to the gym and playing football for his university.

dale howard6
Dale’s first love is now music and he loves to DJ in his spare time. He says that dj’ing is the second thing in the world that makes him happy, after money. A party animal, Dale loves to go clubbing in Liverpool at the weekend with his mates.
Dale loves “fit” girls and has a thing about women with funny noses! His dream celebrity dates would be Mischa Barton and Abbey Clancy.

dale howard5
To Dale, winning Big Brother means everything. He says: "F*** taking part? No one remembers the losers." He believes he should be on the show because of his good looks and says he gets on with everyone, especially girls. He claims that he is mentally and physically strong and ready to take on any challenge Big Brother throws at him.

James Tanner

James Tanner (born 1976 in Kent) is a British chef and television personality. He currently appears on the BBC cookery programme Ready Steady Cook.

james tanner2

After studying hotel management he worked in the kitchens of several well-known restaurants, often with his older brother Chris. He worked his way up through the ranks until he was invited by the Roux brothers to move to the US and work in upstate New York, where he was Chef de Partie at the Lake Placid Lodge. Within four months he was promoted to junior sous chef.

james tanner

He worked his way up the ranks and on returning to England took a job under Martin Blunos at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Lettonie in Bath before a head-chef role at Right on the Green in Kent.    In 1999, aged 23, James and his brother Chris opened Tanners Restaurant in Plymouth.

james tanner3

James' television career began in 2002 when he and brother Chris made their first TV appearance on a competition called 'Chef Stars', a promotion run by UKTV Food and broadcast predominantly on their flagship show Good Food Live (more recently known as Great Food Live). The brothers didn't make it through to the final, but they made an impression.   James became a semi-regular guest on Great Food Live which was shot at the same studios as Ready Steady Cook. He was recommended to audition for the show and duly became a regular. At the heart of his style during his TV appearances is the repetition of his catchphrase "Like so", used in order to make various culinary techniques seem easy, encouraging members of the public to give them a try, and also to assuage viewers' fears of unfamiliar ingredients, as well as "dig down deep". Many feel that his influence on the Great British Public's attitude towards cuisine rivals that of his peers Jamie Oliver and Ainsley Harriott.

James also continues to appear on Saturday Kitchen and Great Food Live (now cancelled).

Prince William

I was having a discussion with someone about whether Prince William or Prince Harry is the hottest.  I still can't decide.  So here's the first part of a two part comparison.  I will feature Prince Harry shortly.

prince_william_03

Prince William of Wales (William Arthur Philip Louis; born 21 June 1982) is the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, he is also the elder brother of Prince Harry. He is second in the line of succession to the British throne and those of each of the other Commonwealth Realms. As the son of the Prince of Wales and the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William is a member of the British Royal Family. He was the first prince to be born into the immediate royal family since the birth of Prince Edward in 1964.

prince_william_01 prince_william_04

The prince served as a Cornet in the Blues and Royals regiment of the British Army's Household Cavalry in 2007, together with his younger brother, Prince Harry. Within his regiment, he was known as Cornet William Wales. In April 2008 William earned his wings by completing pilot training at RAF Cranwell. His rank was Flying Officer but he was given the callsign Billy the Fish by his fellow pilots, a pun on his name William Wales which also uses a part of his father's title for his surname.

William Moseley / Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian

With the release of The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian I am going to focus on the star.  William Moseley

william moseley5william moseley 2

Prince Caspian, like the first Chronicles of Narnia, is visually stunning – from the locations where the movie was filmed, to the sets, to the costuming.  The actors and actresses, musical scores, and Aslan's voice all contribute to the continuity.  The four Pevensie children have been back in London a year in the story-line, and while the younger two children have matured, you get the sense you've just left them at the end of the last movie.

william moseley

Andrew Adamson, the writer and director said in an interview, “This film is probably a little darker and grittier than the last one, partly because the children are older, making the story more adult in nature.”  This also comes through in the movie dialogue where the dwarf Trumpkin warns Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy “You may find Narnia a more savage place than you remember.”

william moseley6

William Peter Moseley (born April 27, 1987) is an English actor. He is best known for starring as Peter Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia film series. Previously, he played a small role as Forrester in a 2002 television version of Goodbye, Mr. Chips.

Moseley was born in Sheepscombe, Gloucestershire, England in the Cotswolds. He has wanted to become an actor since he was ten years old. William is the oldest of three children. He has two younger siblings called Ben 1992 and Daisy 1989.William attended Wycliffe College and Marling School in Stroud.

Jonathan Ansell

I watched Celebrity Come Dine With Me the other night and noticed Jonathan.  I remember him from G4 but haven't seen him about for a while.   Jonathan Mark Ansell (born 10 March 1982) is an English singer, formally the high tenor of the vocal group G4.

Jonathan Ansell was born in Bognor Regis in 1982. At the age of eight, he joined The West Sussex Boys' Choir, conducted by Arthur Robson, and stayed until his voice broke when he lost the ability to sing treble at the age of 15. He toured with the choir to Florida, Germany, and France, and sang in the Royal Festival Hall. After puberty Ansell found out he had developed a high tenor voice instead.

  jonathanansell1

He attended the Anglican Bishop Luffa School in Chichester. "Achieved his Grade 8 as a treble at 13, he received his Grade 8 as a tenor at 17. He published a solo album in 2001 with his savings.

  jonathanansell

After a show-stopping performance of Love Changes Everything at a choral society concert in Littlehampton, his local MP, who was in the audience, arranged for him to have a preliminary audition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He won a place two years later, and felt he had come home.

Calvin Goldspink

Although he spends most of his time in the USA, he's still busy doing lots of things.

A little bit of information from his official site :

My new album will be released sometime later this year. I've been back in the studio working with some new producers and muscians, and I'm happy to report that it's been great getting back into my music. A lot of people are wondering what direction this new record is going to take in terms of style and sound.Well, to be honest, we haven't really settled on the sound yet but from what we are working on at the moment, you can expect that it will be a lot more grown up than the material we did in S Club 8. I'm really excited about how well the writing process is going, so you can look forward to something completely different!  Check back to the site as much as you can, and we’ll keep you up to posted with our progress. I’m so pleased with all the fan support and I want you be the first to know when the album is going to be released and to hear it when it's done. Thanks again everybody.

I don't know if the album is a US or UK release or both, but as soon as I know, you will know.

James Baxter

James plays a character in Emmerdale, there isn't really much information on James about, so heres the information on the character he plays.

 james baxter3

Jake arrived in the village for the christening of his half brother Arthur, in December 2007, where he also served a godfather. He returned to the village again in January 2008 to help his father Greg with the re-building of Annie's Cottage, which Greg had bought off Jack Sugden.

james baxter

Jake didn't take to building so when Jack offered him a chance to work on the farm to help out after Andy Sugden was sent to jail, Jake agreed. Having Jake around really helped to improve Victoria Sugden's mood. She was smitten with Jake but he only thought of her as a friend.

 james baxter1

With Andy in prison, Jake set his sights on his fiancée, Jo Stiles. At Jo's hen night in the Woolpack, Jake started putting shots into her champagne glass. However when Sam Dingle spotted him, he confronted Jake and told him to leave Jo alone. After an argument with Val Lambert and Louise Appleton, Jo left and Jake tried to follow but Sam wouldn't let him leave.

james baxter2

After the wedding, Jake spotted Jo kissing a stranger, who happened to be jailbird and Andy's enemy Charlie, in her bedroom. What Jake didn't realise is that Jo was kissing him so she could bite his tongue and run off. Jake initally didn't believe her when she told him about the blackmail.

James Murray

James Murray (sometimes billed as 'James Scott Murray') is a British actor, possibly best known for his roles in ‘Under the Greenwood Tree,’ and ‘Cutting It.’

Born on 22 January 1975 in Manchester, England, the son of a Scottish engineer, and great grandson of Richard Hollins Murray, the inventor of the reflecting lens, James grew up in Lancashire and Herefordshire.

He made his first screen appearance aged only 4, in 1979, in the role of infant Charlie in the BBC detective drama ‘Shoestring.’ His next brush with celebrity was three years later when as a 007-obsessed youngster his wish to meet James Bond was granted on the Jim’ll Fix It show. He must therefore have been in seventh heaven when he later co-starred alongside ex Bond Timothy Dalton in the 2006 ITV Miss Marple drama, 'The Sittaford Mystery,' and describes the experience as “a big thrill.”

With the instant success of 'Primeval,' and a role in a new film, reportedly shot in Bulgaria in the spring of 2007, it appears that James' is very much on the rise, and his increasing number of fans worldwide look forward to many more screen appearances to come.

Out of the contestants on Any Dream Will Do, he was not my first choice for hot, but theres something there.

Lee Stephen Mead (born 14 July 1981, Southend-on-Sea) is a British musical theatre actor, best known for playing the male lead in the 2007 London West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The show's composer/co-producer Andrew Lloyd Webber cast Mead in the role because he won the BBC reality talent show Any Dream Will do.

Aged eight, Mead "went to see Joseph with his other gran,” his grandmother Lilian Horning, 77, told 11 June's Mirror, adding: "He saw Joseph and pointed to him and said 'That's who I want to be'. Acting and singing is all he ever wanted to do."
